This page lists our current range of Metric High Tensile
(Grade 12.9) Carbon Steel Socket Cap Screws from M3 to M6.

Socket sizes
are stated in millimetres (imperial sizes have been converted to metric).
If you

Tools and ancillary items for each size are also listed at the bottom of each size section.
All dimensions are in millimetres.
Please note that the overall shank length is the measurement from
the underside of the
head to the end of the screw shank.

Longer sizes can be ordered complete with nuts - this will
include 1 x Nyloc nut and 2 flat washers per cap screw.
The nuts and washers are
supplied in BZP (Bright Zinc Plated) finished steel
which are silver in colour. If you prefer
black nuts and washers then please
order the screws only on this page and black nuts
and washers seperately.
All our metric screws are
metric coarse with thread pitches as below unless stated otherwise. For more guidance on screw thread dimensions please click

is a rare thread form in cap screw form and so available lengths and
stock can be limited.
If you are looking for M3.5 cap screws for use in clearance holes
together with M3.5 nuts, you may want to consider
No 6 UNC. The diameter is only nominally 0.005mm larger (1/5th of 1
thousandth of an inch) than metric M3.5 and the choice of lengths is
wider. Our UNC HT cap screws are listedhere *Please note that the
20mm & 50mm long M3.5 cap screws require a 2.8mm (7/64") key
