Website
Model Fixings is a family run company
founded in 2002, to provide primarily the RC World (Radio Control)
and
Control Line Modelers with a source of 'engineering parts' at excellent
prices.
As our range has grown we now also find ourselves supplying components to
Schools and Universities, Tech companies, Scientific instrument makers,
musical instrument makers, fine furniture makers, industrial model makers,
automotive companies (including F1 teams), film props makers,
government agencies and many other sectors.
We have close links to engineering supply companies in the UK and overseas and
buy in bulk quantities, enabling us to pass on the
huge cost savings to you. We are committed to providing a first class service.

Our Pricing, Post and
Packing philosophy
The prices quoted for each item is the price you pay - VAT
is included.
At ModelFixings we think we have the fairest post and
package policy around. Each of our items are graded according to weight and the
ordering system automatically calculates a true value of postage and packing
costs. There are limitations to the shopping cart software which means we cannot
be as exact as we may like, but nonetheless we are sure you will be pleasantly
surprised at the P&P costs. There is a maximum P&P charge, after which we pay
the rest.
Unlike many commercial websites, you can see exactly what
the shipping costs for selected items will be before you have to enter
any personal details.
Just select the shipping zone on the order form and click on 'update' and the
shipping will be displayed.

Our usual office hours are 9am to 5pm and
we're always happy to talk to our customer whether it for advice or to place an
order by phone. We are a small team however and some times of the day are
usually particularly busy so if you'd like to call us the best times are between
10am and 3.30pm. Your number will be logged (unless blocked) so if we are unable
to take your call we will call you back at the earliest possible time, or
alternatively you can e mail us.
We aim to answer all e mail enquiries
within 4 working hours (but usually answer much more quickly)
Please do not send us sensitive
information such as credit card details by e mail as it is not secure.

information to send, please use our secure message system by using the link
